PRIMARY OBJECTIVESThe Village Kids Sunday Coordinator helps support the Sunday experience from setup to teardown. This includes working with volunteers, ensuring everyone has what they need for a great morning and filling in as needed in different classroom environments. They are responsible for supporting the Village Kids experience on Sunday mornings and helping build a strong community and culture. With a special focus on families who need additional support & training of volunteers.DEMONSTRATED COMPETENCIES Thoroughness: Ensures that one’s own work is complete and accurate. Follows up to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled. Able to plan ahead and be on top of timelines. Delivers an experience to the Village Kids volunteers, kids and families that is consistent with the Village standard of excellence. Team Collaboration: Able to work well with various team members and positions to achieve strategic goals on multiple projects. Flexible Thinking: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively adapt to various situations. Leadership: Is a catalyzer of people. Able to identify, recruit, motivate and oversee volunteer teams and leaders, as well as cast vision and inspire; equipping the church. Communication: Able to use multiple channels or means to communicate information. Effectively communicates verbally as well as in writing to individuals and groups. Proactively anticipates what needs to be communicated. RESPONSIBILITIES Participates in executing Sunday morning experiences, including the setup/teardown of classrooms, overall floor support, and classroom participation as needed.  Ensures proper oversight of the system for welcoming a child or youth with exceptionalities into Family Ministries. Provides support to the Village Kids Program and Development Associate around training, oversight, and development to volunteers and Leads through onboarding, onsite feedback/training and micro-trainings. Help coordinate and participate in Hangout Does midweek events every six weeks.  Participates in planning and attends team-building gatherings, discipleship, and appreciation. Attends Hub events and activities as time allows Ensures all responsibilities are completed in a purposeful, strategic and focused manner that points people to Jesus. Acts as a servant by inviting, discipling, training and equipping others to serve. Ensures all responsibilities are produced, promoted and led with a high level of innovation and excellence, honoring God at the highest level. Acts with a sense of ambitious urgency, ensuring all work is completed wisely and impactfully. Time is a gift from God. Maintains an openness to being a learner by committing to continuous spiritual, professional, and self-development. Contributes to the best team culture by participating joyfully and working well with peers. Commits to thanking at least one volunteer on a weekly basis. Pursues a deeper relationship with Christ and greater spiritual growth through prayer, the gospel, and community. Is a disciple. Ability to plan and strategize to achieve a vision in an efficient manner Understanding of the DNA of Village Kids Takes initiative and possesses drive Has strong administrative skills Ability to problem-solve Can work independently and be part of a team.
