Protestant Religious Education Coordinator

Position Overview

McColm & Company is seeking a dedicated Protestant Religious Education Coordinator to lead and develop comprehensive religious education programs for the Protestant Chapel community at Grand Forks Air Force Base, supporting spiritual growth and community engagement for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and administer comprehensive Protestant religious education programs, including Bible literacy classes, baptism preparation, and Vacation Bible School
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers, conducting a minimum of two teacher training events annually
• Coordinate facility and material needs with Chapel Facility Manager
• Maintain curriculum and ensure publicity of religious education schedules and activities
• Manage religious education purchases using Chapel Tithes and Offerings Funds (CTOF)
• Report religious education attendance during biweekly staff and quarterly Protestant Advisory Council meetings
• Collaborate with Christian RE Coordinator for Vacation Bible School planning
• Maintain 8 weekly office hours at Grand Forks Air Force Base

Required Qualifications

• One year of relevant experience (military chapel experience preferred)
• 24 college credits in Protestant religious education or equivalent experience
• Evidence of good standing in the Protestant faith and ethical conduct
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Must reside within 100 miles of the base and provide own transportation
• Must pass federal, state, and installation background checks
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
