Chaplain Part-Time - Pomona, CA

Position Overview

As a Part-Time Chaplain with Marketplace Chaplains, you will serve as a compassionate ministry professional, providing spiritual support and care to employees and their families in various workplace settings across the Pomona, CA area.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular weekly visits to company worksites, building trust and relationships with employees through compassionate, faith-based interactions
• Provide confidential pastoral counseling on personal issues including family matters, grief, financial stress, and life challenges
• Offer support during critical life events such as serious illness, workplace transitions, and family emergencies
• Visit employees or family members in hospitals, nursing homes, or other appropriate settings to provide spiritual care
• Participate in new employee orientations to explain Employee Care Services
• Respond to leadership requests within the scope of the organization's ministry agreement
• Maintain professional documentation and follow organizational protocols
• Represent the organization with diplomacy and Christian compassion in diverse workplace environments

Required Qualifications

• Active, biblically-based Christian faith with demonstrated spiritual maturity
• Active participation in a biblically-based church
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively in diverse, interfaith settings
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency in Google Suites, Microsoft Office, and web-based applications
• Valid state driver's license with minimum required auto insurance
• Ability to maintain emotional stability in challenging circumstances
• Demonstrated skill in problem-solving and confidential decision-making
