Chaplain Part Time - Collins, MS

Position Overview

As a Part-Time Chaplain with Marketplace Chaplains in Collins, MS, you will serve as a compassionate spiritual support professional, ministering to employees and their families by building trust, offering care, and embodying Christian values in diverse workplace environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Make regular weekly visits to company worksites to build relationships and provide spiritual support to employees
• Conduct confidential pastoral discussions addressing personal, family, financial, and emotional challenges
• Provide care and support during critical life events including serious illness, grief, family transitions, and workplace changes
• Offer referral services and coordinate specialized assistance for employees and their immediate family members
• Attend employee-related events such as funerals, hospital visits, and provide post-termination care
• Participate in new employee orientations to explain Employee Care Services
• Represent companies during sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion

Required Qualifications

• Active, committed Christian with demonstrated spiritual maturity
• Fundamental understanding of the Holy Bible and its practical application
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in diverse, interfaith settings
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain emotional stability in challenging circumstances
• Proficiency in Google Suites, Microsoft Office, and web-based applications
• Active state driver's license with minimum required auto insurance
• Willingness to pass pre-employment background check
