Academy Director- First Baptist Church Celina

Position Overview

The Academy Director will provide strategic leadership for Lionheart Children's Academy at First Baptist Church Celina, managing all operational aspects while promoting the organization's mission of Christ-centered care and education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership by promoting and maintaining the academy's mission, vision, and core values
• Manage daily operations, ensuring compliance with state licensing requirements and corporate standards
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop exceptional academy staff through spiritual mentoring and professional development
• Oversee enrollment, marketing, and community outreach efforts to support organizational growth
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with church partners, parents, and community stakeholders
• Manage financial operations, including budgeting, billing, and tuition collection
• Ensure safety and health standards are met through comprehensive programming and regular inspections
• Maintain effective communication systems with staff, parents, and church leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2-3 years experience as an Academy Director in a licensed child care facility
• Academic experience with infant, toddler, pre-school, and/or elementary teaching
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and CRM systems
• Strong understanding of child care licensing and accreditation standards
• Demonstrated spiritual maturity and commitment to Christ-centered education
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills

What We Offer

• Competitive salary range: $55,000 - $75,000 annually
