Toddler Floater Teacher - Celebration Church

Position Overview

As a Toddler Floater Teacher at Lionheart Children's Academy, you will play a crucial role in providing developmental and spiritual care for young children, creating a nurturing learning environment that supports their growth and early education.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and implement classroom programs in accordance with Academy Director and curriculum coordinator guidelines
• Demonstrate professional knowledge of child development and curriculum, providing relevant learning experiences
• Maintain thorough understanding of Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers and NAC accreditation standards
• Effectively engage students using diverse instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs
• Create a respectful, positive, safe, and student-centered learning environment
• Communicate effectively and participate in ongoing professional growth
• Maintain current First-Aid and CPR certification
• Support other duties as assigned within the children's ministry

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED
• Early education BA, AA, or CDA highly preferred
• Previous experience in a state-licensed facility OR 24 hours of documented pre-service training
• Experience in children's ministry is a plus
• Commitment to biblical living and representing Christ in professional conduct
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Must pass criminal background check
