Preschool Teacher- Mercy Road Church

Position Overview

As a Preschool Teacher at Lionheart Children's Academy, you will play a critical role in planning, organizing, and implementing developmental and spiritual programs for young children, creating a nurturing Christ-centered learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and implement classroom programs in accordance with Academy Director and curriculum guidelines
• Demonstrate professional knowledge by providing relevant learning experiences that meet developmental needs of children
• Create a respectful, positive, safe, and student-centered learning environment
• Maintain adherence to Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers and NAC accreditation standards
• Use diverse instructional strategies to meet individual student learning needs
• Maintain professional ethics and participate in ongoing professional growth
• Serve as an ambassador of Jesus Christ, living out biblical principles in daily interactions

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Early education BA, AA, or CDA highly preferred
• Previous experience in a state-licensed facility or 24 hours of documented pre-service training
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Strong commitment to biblical living and Christ-centered care
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
