Infant Teacher-- Mercy Road Church

Position Overview

As an Infant Teacher at Lionheart Children's Academy, you will play a critical role in nurturing and developing young children through comprehensive, Christ-centered early education and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and implement age-appropriate curriculum and developmental programs for infant classroom
• Maintain thorough knowledge of Child Care Minimum Standards and NAC accreditation requirements
• Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment that supports individual child development
• Effectively communicate with parents and support holistic child growth
• Demonstrate spiritual maturity and serve as an ambassador of Jesus Christ
• Collaborate with team members and support academy mission
• Maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications
• Perform other duties as assigned by Academy Director

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• At least 18 years of age
• Early education BA, AA, or CDA highly preferred
• Previous experience in state-licensed facility or 24 hours pre-service training
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Commitment to biblical living and Christ-centered education
