Youth, Worship, and Outreach Pastor

Position Overview

Kingdom One and Torrance First Baptist Church are seeking a dynamic Associate Pastor to lead youth ministry, contemporary worship, and church outreach. This full-time role is critical in connecting students to church life and supporting the overall ministry vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive leadership for Jr. High and Sr. High Ministries, including weekly Youth Group, Sunday Life Group, and monthly events
• Lead contemporary worship for Sunday morning services and all-church events, coordinating with Lead Pastor
• Manage church social media platforms and web content for Outreach Ministry
• Collaborate with Local Outreach Team to create community service opportunities
• Preach occasionally during Sunday services
• Develop and schedule Praise Team, leading weekly practices and mentoring aspiring musicians and vocalists
• Recruit and train ministry volunteers
• Participate in church staff meetings and assist with all-church events

Required Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor's degree required; seminary graduate or enrollment preferred
• Demonstrated experience working with youth and leading worship in a church context
• Strong leadership and teaching skills
• Musical proficiency, able to lead worship from piano or guitar
• Vibrant, consistent personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Passionate about connecting students to church community
• Humble, teachable attitude with strong team collaboration skills

What We Offer

• Competitive salary range of $68,000-$70,000
