Youth, Worship, and Outreach Pastor

Position Overview

An Associate Pastor role at Torrance First Baptist Church seeking a dynamic spiritual leader to guide youth ministry, lead contemporary worship, and support church outreach efforts. This full-time, hybrid position offers meaningful ministry opportunities in a collaborative church environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive leadership for Jr. High and Sr. High Ministries, including weekly Youth Group, Sunday Life Group, and monthly events
• Lead contemporary worship for Sunday morning services and all-church events in coordination with Lead Pastor
• Develop and manage Praise Team, including recruiting, training, scheduling, and developing musicians and vocalists
• Support Local Outreach Team in creating community service opportunities
• Assist with church web page and social media platforms for Outreach Ministry
• Occasional preaching during Sunday services
• Participate in church staff meetings and all-church events
• Create and manage all-church visual graphics

Required Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor's degree (Seminary graduate or enrollment preferred)
• Demonstrated experience working with youth and leading worship in church settings
• Strong leadership and teaching skills
• Musical proficiency (ability to lead worship from piano/guitar)
• Deep, vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Passion for connecting students to church life
• Humble, teachable attitude with strong team collaboration skills

What We Offer

• Salary Range: $68,000-$70,000
• Full-time position with hybrid work model
• Minimum 2 days per week in-office
