Campus Ministry Associate - Greater North Texas Area (Undergraduate Ministry)

Position Overview

As a Campus Ministry Associate with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, you will embark on a transformative one to two-year ministry training journey, preparing to become a Campus Staff Minister while serving undergraduate students in the Greater North Texas Area.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop personal spiritual disciplines and grow as a maturing disciple of Jesus Christ, actively participating in a worshipping community
• Teach and guide students in Scripture study, spiritual growth, and evangelism on campus
• Lead ministry efforts to proclaim the Gospel, develop student leadership, and promote racial and cultural inclusivity
• Provide pastoral care and support for student leadership teams and individual students
• Conduct administrative tasks including chapter affiliations, reporting, and compliance with organizational policies
• Develop ministry partnerships through fundraising, communication, and relationship building
• Recruit students for conferences and ministry projects
• Engage in continuous personal and professional spiritual development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (required for four-year campuses; Associate's degree for two-year campuses)
• Prior experience with campus ministry preferred
• Willingness to receive training to become a Campus Staff Minister
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to solve problems and work collaboratively
• Commitment to InterVarsity's Statement of Agreement, Doctrinal Basis, and Code of Conduct
• Demonstrated experience in spiritual discipleship and biblical teaching
