Associate Area Ministry Director - Georgia (Undergraduate Ministry)

Position Overview

As an Associate Area Ministry Director for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in Georgia, you will provide spiritual leadership and collaborative ministry support for undergraduate campus ministry, working closely with the Area Ministry Director to advance God's mission through student transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual leadership by growing as a maturing disciple of Jesus Christ, practicing daily spiritual disciplines, and continuing personal spiritual development
• Participate fully in area team leadership, contributing to ministry vision, strategic planning, and student training programs
• Engage directly in student ministry, supporting spiritual growth and development through mentorship, discipleship, and campus engagement
• Provide pastoral supervision for ministry staff, including professional development, performance evaluations, and team support
• Manage administrative responsibilities, including event coordination, financial management, and adherence to organizational policies
• Serve as an ambassador for InterVarsity by cultivating relationships with ministry partners, churches, donors, and alumni
• Develop and maintain personal financial support through strategic fund development efforts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum three years campus ministry or equivalent ministry experience
• Strong alignment with InterVarsity's Statement of Agreement, doctrinal basis, and mission
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse ministry environment
• Proven organizational and problem-solving capabilities
• Willingness to receive ongoing training and professional development
• Ability to work independently and manage complex ministry responsibilities
