ABOUT THE ROLE: The Mobilization Administrative Specialist provides administrative, operational, and constituent support across IFA’s Mobilization and Administration departments. You’ll support the National Director of Mobilization and help Church Ambassadors and State Prayer Leaders stay connected, informed, and engaged through communication, encouragement, prayer, resources, and consistent follow-up. You’ll also support front-office service, database management, mail operations, inventory, and daily office responsibilities. This shared role offers meaningful variety and requires strong organization, accuracy, discretion, and a service-focused approach. Leaders from both departments coordinate assignments and priorities to balance the workload.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
WHAT YOU’LL BRING -High school diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree in Business, Ministry, Nonprofit Management, or a related field highly preferred. -Two to four years of relevant experience in administration, customer service, volunteer engagement, ministry support, or related work preferred. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Mail Merge. -Salesforce or other CRM/database experience highly preferred. -Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through. -Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. -A responsive, service-oriented approach to supporting volunteers, ministry leaders, donors, and constituents. -Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. -Sound judgment and the ability to safeguard confidential information. -Strong Christian faith and willingness to participate in prayer with staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners, consistent with IFA’s mission. -Ability to lift and move mail trays, packages, and office supplies weighing up to 25 pounds. -Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of the Purcellville VA office.
