We are currently growing and are looking for experienced individuals to support us in this endeavor.   Job Description Performs cleaning tasks at the Wood County Christian School in Parkersburg, West Virginia, in order to keep premises and associated buildings in clean and orderly condition.  Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:   Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim. Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. Sweeps, and scrubs floor. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Dusts furniture and equipment. Washes windows, door panels, and sills. Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays. Transports trash and waste to disposal area. Replenishes bathroom supplies. Sweep and pickup trash on the parking lot and entrances or as specified by contract. Cleans all sinks, commodes, and mirrors. Maintain janitorial equipment and supplies to ensure economical use thereof.   Qualifications Previous custodial experience required. High school diploma or GED preferred. Must have reliable transportation. Position requires regular standing and walking, as well as frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds.   Judgment must be used if items weigh over 25 pounds. Must have ability to pass criminal background check.   Additional Information Beginning rate of pay is $15 per hour. Part-time position.
