High School Ministry Intern

Position Overview

As a High School Ministry Intern at First Alliance Church, you will work closely with High School and College Pastors to gain hands-on experience in youth ministry, learning critical leadership skills while supporting and developing church youth programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support at high school ministry events and services
• Study youth ministry materials and develop administrative skills under high school pastor's guidance
• Learn budgeting, event planning, and ministry calendar coordination
• Observe various church ministries and participate in weekly staff meetings
• Engage in ministry-minded conversations with staff, volunteers, and local leaders
• Document personal learning through a comprehensive written report or journal at internship's conclusion

• Demonstrated growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Personal alignment with First Alliance Church's mission and vision
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively and lead teams
• Excellent communication skills and flexibility
• Administrative competence and prompt communication capabilities
• Proven character traits including integrity, humility, and self-motivation
• Willingness to pass a comprehensive background check
