Decision Point is an evangelical nonprofit focused on equipping and mobilizing students to share the gospel on their school campuses and online.
The Opportunity
Campus Ministry Staff coach students who want to reach their peers for Christ while building relationships with youth pastors, churches, schools, and community leaders.
Staff spend 50–75% of their time in the field during the ministry year, coaching students, visiting schools, and developing ministry partnerships.
Key Responsibilities Coach and disciple student leaders in evangelism and leadership. Build relationships with pastors, churches, parents, educators, and community leaders. Develop partnerships and expand campus ministry throughout Orange County. Help students become courageous witnesses for Christ. Lead, coach, and develop others while supporting Decision Point’s broader mission.
Ideal Candidate Passionate about reaching young people with the gospel. Entrepreneurial, driven, and goal-oriented. Strong verbal and written communicator. Visionary leader and proven coach. Organized and detail-oriented. Team-oriented, spiritually mature, and committed to God’s Word. Willing to work 45+ hours per week and commit long-term.
Qualifications Ministry experience in a church or parachurch setting preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Willingness to travel regularly throughout the LA area and occasionally nationwide.
Compensation & Fundraising $48,000–$64,000 annual salary, based on experience and qualifications. Staff participate in fundraising for financial and prayer support, with training, encouragement, and ongoing coaching.
