Kids Pastor - North Phoenix

Position Overview

The Kids Pastor plays a crucial role in building and leading the CCV Kids ministry, focusing on recruiting, training, and inspiring volunteers while creating an engaging, Christ-centered environment for children and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead the CCV Kids ministry team, ensuring all weekend operations meet organizational expectations
• Oversee volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, and placement, following comprehensive safety protocols
• Connect with church families, both new and existing, to foster spiritual growth and engagement
• Cast vision to parents about resources for leading biblical conversations at home
• Create a fun, engaging, and healthy children's ministry environment
• Communicate daily with the Lead Kids Pastor and execute ministry programs, curriculums, and processes
• Facilitate ongoing volunteer training and coaching
• Actively represent the CCV Kids vision within the community

Required Qualifications

• Baptized by immersion and actively pursuing a Christ-centered life
• Committed to regular church service attendance and personal worship
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships
• Demonstrated ability to coach, guide, and develop others
• Degree or ministry-related experience preferred
• Experience working with youth and volunteers
• Skilled in volunteer database management (e.g., Rock)
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain high attention to detail
