JOB SUMMARY:

This person is fun-loving, energetic, and passionate about connecting students to Christ! This role will work closely in a team with the Legacy Student Pastor, Legacy Campus Pastor, Engage Team leader, and all campuses Student Pastors. This role will be responsible for leading the vision for all Chase Oaks Student Ministries and leading / executing weekend Student services and events at Legacy Campus in partnership with the Legacy Student Pastor.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

All-Campus Leadership Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction for all of Chase Oaks Student Ministries
- Collaborate with the Student Ministry team in every aspect of that vision
- Support and participate in all student events. (Camps, Mission Trips, Lock-ins, etc.)

Legacy Campus Leadership Responsibilities
- Help run student ministry during program and events
- Assist in weekly programming structure
- Recruit leaders
- Assist in outside communication to parents, leaders, students, etc.

CHASE OAKS STAFF PASTOR ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Commit to doing ministry as a team; develop interdependence among team members and be authentic with team members
Participate in and take responsibility for the execution of the Ministry Team planning process
Demonstrate consistent lifestyle and be of strong character
Participate in Pastor-of-the-Week duties
Be available to perform sacerdotal functions (i.e., weddings, funerals, communion, and baptisms)
Regularly attend and participate in staff and pastoral meetings and/or leadership development opportunities
Be available to assist other ministries and pastors with special projects or by handling specific assignments and non-routine matters

EXPERIENCE DESIRED

Minimum 5 years of related experience leading students and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

EDUCATION DESIRED

Minimum of college degree along with one year of theological education (Examples: college, seminary, Open Bible Academy, BSF, etc.)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Dotted line leadership of all Student Ministry initiatives

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to speak effectively and understandably on the phone. The ability to effectively present information and respond to common inquiries regarding Chase Oaks ministries is also required. High attention to customer service.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook calendaring, and email
Basic knowledge of Excel
Data entry skill & experience
Familiarity with databases
