Landscape Laborer

Description

Lend strength to Bethel Church of Redding to see the expansion of God’s kingdom by creating and maintaining areas around Bethel campuses that invite encounters by revealing God’s love, excellence and beauty.

This 40 hour position involves strenuous physical labor in all types of weather. Includes digging, mowing, trimming, weeding, brush cutting, and the use of power equipment. Requires competence in the use of hand and power tools as well as basic familiarity with water features and landscape maintenance.

Hours: 20 hours per week

Salary: $16.50 per hour

Requirements

• Believes and adheres to the beliefs and vision of Bethel Church
• Ability to perform a variety of physical labor, including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for long periods of time; lifting and carrying, tools, equipment, and materials
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs several times per shift
• Spraying certificate (Required within 3 months of start date.)
• Seasonal summer availability of 40 hours/week
