Position Overview

Join BAYADA Home Health Care as a Per Diem Hospice Chaplain / Spiritual Counselor in Atlantic and Cape May Counties, NJ, providing compassionate spiritual support to hospice patients and their families during end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized spiritual care plans for hospice patients
• Provide comprehensive spiritual and emotional support to patients and family members
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for patient care
• Participate in bereavement services for families, referral sources, and community
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professional attitude during patient interactions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Counseling or Divinity preferred
• One year of spiritual counseling experience in healthcare, preferably hospice or palliative care
• Chaplain Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) certification preferred
• Willingness to travel within the assigned coverage area
