Chaplain PRN

Position Overview

As a PRN Chaplain at AdventHealth, you will provide compassionate spiritual care to patients, families, and staff, extending the healing ministry of Christ through sensitive and supportive pastoral support on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-call ministry support for one or multiple campus locations
• Be available for a minimum of 7 shifts per month, including weeknights and weekends
• Respond to spiritual care referrals from physicians, nurses, patients, and family members
• Perform special duties as assigned by the campus Chaplain manager
• Minister to patients, families, and staff with cultural and spiritual sensitivity

Required Qualifications

• Level 1 PRN Chaplain Requirements: - Master of Divinity/Theology/Religion or equivalent - One (1) Unit of ACPE-accredited Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
• Level 2 PRN Chaplain Requirements: - 4-year degree in Theology/Religion or equivalent - One (1) Unit of ACPE-accredited Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
• Active endorsement by a local congregation
