Chaplain PRN

Position Overview

As a PRN Chaplain with AdventHealth, you will provide compassionate spiritual care to patients, families, and staff, extending the healing ministry of Christ through sensitive and supportive pastoral support across multiple campus locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-call ministry support across one or multiple hospital campuses
• Respond to referrals from physicians and nurses for spiritual care needs
• Be available for a minimum of 7 shifts per month, including weeknights and weekends
• Minister directly to patients, families, and hospital staff with cultural sensitivity
• Perform special duties as assigned by the campus Chaplain manager

Required Qualifications

• Level 1 PRN Chaplain: Master of Divinity/Theology/Religion or equivalent
• One (1) Unit of CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) accredited by ACPE
• Level 2 PRN Chaplain: 4-year degree in Theology/Religion or equivalent
• Active endorsement by a local congregation
